Hull City are rumoured to be considering a move for Auxerre midfielder Paul-Georges Ntep de Madiba.

Steve Bruce is known to be looking to bring in one more player before the transfer window closes at the start of September with a forward the most likely prospect to be brought into the club. National media reports today suggests that could be Cameroon 21 year old Ntep de Madiba who has been linked with a move to East Yorkshire.

With a settled goalkeeping situation and an abundance of options in defence, Steve Bruce is most likely to make a move to bring in a further forward or wide player. Neither Matty Fryatt or Nick Proschwitz were considered for the eighteen man squad to face Chelsea, meaning that this could be an area Bruce still seeks to target reinforcements for as he builds a squad capable of survival in the Premier League.

Ntep de Madiba has come through the Auxerre B side, progressing to make 34 appearances for the first-team, scoring nine goals. With Auxerre struggling financially, the Ligue 2 side may be forced to sell with a fee rumoured in the region of £1.5 million.
