Head coach Marco Silva has called on Hull City to improve their away form as we go into the game against Everton this weekend.

Making the trip to Goodison Park to face off against Ronald Koeman’s in form Everton side this Saturday, with Premier League survival the aim, Silva knows we have to back up our chances by improving results on our travels.

Speaking to the Official Site in his pre game press conference, the gaffer explained.

‘We need some results away from home. It is not possible that we play this as two competitions – one at home and one away. It is normal that teams feel more comfortable playing at home, but we have to improve our away performances and results. In some games away from home we have shown progress, but the results haven`t been good with only one good result at Manchester United recently. The other away results for me haven`t been good and our last away performance at Leicester was not the best.’

Adding.

‘Our home form recently has been good. We have achieved results and because of that, our confidence is good. Away from home, we have had some good performances but we haven`t achieved results and of course we have to change this situation as soon as possible. We have ten games left, five at home and five away from home. We need to take points away from home as well as at home.’

In terms of team news, Evandro continues to be out of action with his calf problem and on loan Oumar Niasse is ineligible to face his parent club.

Markus Henriksen has returned to training this week having recovered from his shoulder injury, but Everton is likely to come too soon for him with the Norwegian international having been out for more than two months.

There are no fresh injury concerns, but we continue to be without Michael Dawson, Dieumerci Mbokani, Ryan Mason, Moses Odubajo and Will Keane.
