Burgess In Line For Start

Peter Taylor has revealed that Ben Burgess may gain his first starting place after battling back from an 18 month injury layoff.

Stephen McPhee is out of the trip to Southampton after picking up a knee injury and that may mean that Burgess will get a chance to build on his recent goalscoring appearance against Millwall.

‘Ben has made a few subsitute appearances for us but it looks as if he’s now ready to start a game. He needs a run of games to show what he can do and I’m seriously thinking of starting with him at Southampton.’ said boss Peter Taylor.
