Hull City have announced the capture of Chelsea youngster Fikayo Tomori.

Confirmation of the arrival of the youngster came in after the summers’ transfer deadline had closed, but the 19 year old heads into the KCOM on a season long loan deal that will expire next summer.

Born in Canada, he is mainly a centre half and he made his senior Chelsea debut back in the 2015/16 campaign late on in the year, but he did spend the second half of last season out with Championship automatically promoted Brighton where he took in three starts and seven substitute appearances.

Over the summer he was with England’s Under 20 squad who lifted the Under 20 World Cup and so far this season he’s progressed through to the Under 21 step up as he continues his development. He’s in the group this international window that are set to face the Netherlands and Latvia.

Helping him to settle in with be former Chelsea colleagues Ola Aina and Michael Hector.

  • Certainly a player of quality and class Fikayo Tomori appears to have a bright future in football ahead of him.As the article states he has tasted Championship football last season with Brighton,he will be hoping for more of the same this season with more game time hopefully,he will see this season as an ideal time to progress his game and hopefully make an impact with his parent club in the future.
