City to chat to Danny Mills

City chairman, Adam Pearson has revealed in todays Hull Daily Mail that he plans to talk to Manchester City’s Danny Mills during the next few weeks.

Quoted in an extensive article in the HDM, Pearson says ”I’ll be having a conversation with Danny (Mills) in January, but he’s three weeks from being fit yet. He’s exactly the sort of player that we will need to get us out of the situation we’re in.’

In addition he concedes that offers for Craig Fagan may have to be considered, even if they are in the region of £300,000.

Plus he expects to make a decision on who will take over as City manager after the Christmas and New Year series of matches.

‘We are coming to a time when a decision has to be made and we always planned for that to come after the Christmas games. We will make a decision in the next seven days. The options available to us in terms of managers haven’t really changed.’

With rumours of Gary Megson being appointed at Northampton Town, perhaps things are not as clear cut as they first appeared.
