We’ve asked the Coventry editor about his team and the match on Saturday

What have you made of your start to the season?

Not as good as we thought it would be. The team have lost the attacking zip they had in the second-half of last season.

What are your expectations for this season?

It was the play-offs but now it is looking like a top-half finish.

You lost Dennis Wise who was a revelation for you last season – has it been a big loss?

It’s too early to tell. It’s unlikely he would have had the same impact over a full campaign.

You’ve also just lost Gary McSheffery – how badly will that affect you and is there anyone on the way in to replace him?

It will affect the team. He scored 17 goals last season from the left-wing and created plenty as well. I don’t think City will try and replace him directly but change their style a little bit.

Who’s been brought in to strengthen the squad?

Micky Adams signed a number of players over the summer and should have snapped up Kevin Kyle from Sunderland in time for the Hull game.

Stern John and Dele Adebola will be a threat – who else should we look out for?

Kyle is likely to play instead of Adebola and will be looking to make an instant impact.

Who would you take from the Hull City team to Coventry?

Maybe Stuart Elliott could go some way towards replacing McSheffrey although I know he has not been as effective in the Championship.

ho would you send the other way and why?

With the injury situation at present we need to keep all our players!

Can we have a score prediction please?

A 1-1 draw of no real use to either side!

A big thanks goes to the Coventry editor for his help with the pre-match interview.

We wish all Coventry fans a safe journey but not a happy one!
