Hull City have seen youth products Danny East and Sonny Bradley both join Portsmouth after their contracts expired with City.

Both players have represented the City first-team with East making one appearance in the League Cup defeat to Macclesfield in 2011 while Bradley made two appearances in the City defence last season when a series of injuries left City short of options in defence.

In the 2012/13 season, both spent the season away from the KC with East featuring for Northampton Town before gaining promotion with Gillingham while Bradley spent the season at Aldershot, a spell which ultimately culminated with relegation to the Football Conference.

East and Bradley have both signed two year deals at the Fratton Park club as Portsmouth look to build ahead of a promotion campaign from League 2.

I hope that they both do well with their new clubs. I expected Bradley to leave but tthought East perhaps stood a chance of a new deal.

I don’t think that we have seen enough of either to make a justified comment. Bradley seemed to impress the Aldershot supporters but did not fair greatly in his two senior appearances for City.

East can play in midfield or defence as a right-back and is a good versatile player who I think will do well for you.

They’d never get a lookin at Hull, more power to Pompey for giving them a go. Good luck lads.
