Hull City turn their attentions away from the Championship this afternoon as Leyton Orient visit in the third round of the FA Cup.

Following a New Year`s Day draw at Blackpool, City`s first home game of 2013 sees League 1 side Leyton Orient visit, looking to provide an FA Cup shock. City and the FA Cup have rarely produced fond memories, often falling to lower league opposition and rarely providing the cup run that many fans have craved for some time.

Bruce will make changes to his side with Aluko, Koren, Faye and Elmohamady all missing, providing opportunities to the fringe players. Jack Hobbs will also be rested while Cameron Stewart, who returns from his loan deal with Burnley, could be deployed as the right wing-back.

Leyton Orient are expected to drop Ryan Allsop while Kevin Lisbie undergoes a late fitness check.

Orient arrive having faced non-league opposition to reach the 3rd round after victories against Gloucester City and Alfreton Town.

Vital Hull Prediction: Hull City 3 – 0 Leyton Orient
