Garcia, Okocha & Windass Back – Or Just Hopeful?

Hull City`s injured stars hope to make a return as Phil Brown considers his selection for Sunday`s game at Ipswich.

Reports have suggested Richard Garcia, Jay-Jay Okocha and Dean Windass could all return. Okocha and Garcia will remain doubts through the week following long first-team absences but Dean Windass should return after hobbling off and participating on the final parade on crutches.

Richard Garcia`s absence on the team has been the biggest blow to Brown, with the on-loan Craig Fagan not producing his best in the wide right role due to an on-going foot injury.

Andy Dawson, who missed the victory over Crystal Palace looks set to return, as does Henrik Pedersen who may feature in the squad after being substituted early against Palace. With City knowing a win is essential, Phil Brown has been boosted by having the majority of his team available for selection.

Adam Pearson, the former Chairman of Hull City, today showed his support for his former club as he hoped the likes of Ian Ashbee and Andy Dawson, who have been at the club since the League 2 promotion campaign along with Ryan France and Bo Myhill can win promotion alongside home town boys Nick Barmby and Dean Windass, whom Pearson reckons realises what promotion means to the fans of the club.
