Hull’s Harvey Rodgers, currently impressing during his loan with in-form League 2 side Accrington, is reportedly catching the eye of several Championship and League 1 clubs, according to the Hull Daily Mail.

Rodgers, 20, reportedly scouted by Norwich, Rotherham, Bristol City and Barnsley in his last Stanley outing, is out of contract at the KCOM Stadium this summer so could leave on a free transfer, despite his long association with Hull and his highly rated nature.

Much could depend on Hull’s future status? Cutting it as a Premier League footballer can be different to making it in the Championship. But should City fail in the battle to remain in the topflight, given this rumoured second tier interest in Rodgers, he wouldn’t be allowed to end his 10 year stint with the club without a fight, would he?

Another player, one from Hull’s past, that could be on the move this summer is George Boyd? His Burnley contract expires at the end of the season with former City boss Steve Bruce, who brought him to the KCOM, interested in re-signing him at Aston Villa.
