An announcement for on a move to Aston Villa for Abel Hernandez in a ‘Championship-record’ deal was something the Villa owner had said on Twitter could be expected today.
The Sun had also reported a £20m bid was made for Hernandez over the weekend with £14m of that to be paid to Hull upfront by Villa who would then pay £3m on add-ons based on ‘promotion achievements’ and a further £3m based on ‘goals and appearances.’
