Hull City have confirmed their 25 man squad for the 2013/14 season.

The most surprising inclusion is that of Aaron Mclean, the striker being included within City`s 25 man squad due to City`s failure to sign Shane Long from West Bromwich Albion on transfer deadline day. Reports from West Bromwich Albion, provided by Steve Madeley on Twitter have since suggested that the failure of the Long transfer lies with Hull City due to an attempt to re-finance a deal at a lower level to what was provisionally agreed with West Brom, resulting in the failure of City`s deadline day activity.

Due to Robbie Brady`s age, the Irishman is included within City`s Under 21 squad list and are not required to be registered within the 25 man squad.

There are no other surprises within the 25 man squad with both Matty Fryatt and Nick Proschwitz included although either could leave when the football league loan window opens in a week.
