When Cameron Stewart returned to Hull temporarily from his Charlton Athletic loan last season his future was always away from the KC Stadium, his January switch to Leeds United was meant to follow with a permanent signing this summer.

For whatever reason, and plenty have been mooted, the 23-year-old hasn’t gone to Elland Road in the end but at the end of his contract with Hull he has moved on and after officially becoming a free agent this morning he soon found a new club.

Championship outfit Ipswich Town have today officially confirmed his signing on a three-year contract.

I feel genuinely sorry for Ipswich fans in the wake of this news but as your club appears to be in the market for a donkey or two do you fancy signing Noel Hunt and David Norris as well, huh? How about this, we’ll pay you to sign them?
