Another impressive performance from the juniors against nearest league rivals Chesterfield resulted in a 2-0 victory for the Tigers at Winterton last Saturday
The team had a more experienced look to it for this match after fielding many of the under 16’s for last weeks 1-0 victory over York City at the Kit-Kat Crescent.
The Tigers went in the lead after ten minutes. Good work on the wing by Featherstone allowed McGarry to get on the end of the low cross and give the Tigers the lead.
This was doubled just after the half hour mark. Featherstone, again the architecht, fed Wilkinson who’s run into the box was finished off with a superb shot guided into the far bottom corner of the net.
The Tigers carry on their impressive performances of late.
