King Deal Off – Pancrate In On Loan?

Hull City`s move for Marlon King is no closer with the striker still waiting for a compensation package from Wigan Athletic.

The Tigers £3 million target is training at the JJB Stadium despite agreeing personal terms with Hull City over a move that would break Hull`s existing transfer record. King, who has a substantial contract still to run at Wigan, has fallen down the pecking order despite only arriving in January and has now become surplus to requirements.

New summer recruits has meant King has had to re-think his future at the JJB Stadium and would join Hull after agreeing to take a pay-cut from his existing £30,000 a week contract.

Hull continue to look for a striker in order to boost their chances of survival but with no news from Manchester United regarding Fraizer Campbell`s availability, the City manager is having to start to look at other potential targets. If a move for Marlon King does not materialise, today`s reports are again linking Phil Brown with a move for PSG striker Fabrice Pancrate, although the transfer differs between a loan or permanent move depending on what you read.
