Hull City have confirmed today that midfielder Robert Snodgrass has now picked up an injury that will keep him sidelined for the next month.

Following the fixture last weekend against Stoke City, assessments and scans this week have confirmed that the Scottish international has damaged his ankle ligaments, and it’s expected he will be on the sidelines for at least the next four weeks.

With ongoing injury problems at the club and a number of players out, this was the last thing manager Mike Phelan needed, but when you’re in a bad run of form, the Premier League generally seems to conspire against you doesn’t it.

Down to somebody to step up in his absence.
