Rumours suggesting that centre half Harry Maguire could be off to Everton or Tottenham Hotspur this summer are gathering pace.

Neither club as a destination is exactly knew for the 24 year old, and his performances this season especially under former head coach Marco Silva more than put him on the map and got him spoken about in terms of a potential England call up, so it was always going to be a busy summer of speculation when it came to his future.

The Daily Mirror – no online source I can find – seem to be the latest to have regurgitated this speculation with other press like the Hull Daily Mail picking up on it.

The Mirror seem to have suggested that a fee of £22million would more than tip Hull’s hands this summer and again phrases like being ‘resigned to losing’ him seem to feature prominently in all reports I can see.

What this is based on is anybody’s guess, but again the speculation isn’t new and I doubt it’ll be the last time we’ll see a repeat of it.

In other news, 29 year old centre half Andrea Ranocchia is being linked with a return back to England this summer, but following the expiry of his loan spell with Hull and our relegation, his representatives will be trying to tempt Newcastle United into dealing according to the Chronicle.

Again reports are sketchy on any real details, but it won’t really come as a surprise to Hull as I guess few saw a return after our drop.
