Hull City have now discovered what compensation we will have to pay AFC Wimbledon for the services of young goalkeeper Will Mannion.

Mannion made the switch to the KCOM Stadium last summer but with both clubs unable to agree on training compensation for the player, earlier this week a Professional Football Compensation Committee tribunal was held, and the fee has now been set.

Appointed under EFL and Premier League regulations, they sat on Tuesday May 16 and decided the following for compensation.

Hull will pay a fee of £100,000 for the 19 year old stopper upfront, with £25,000 payable on the player making 15, 30, 45 and 60 first team appearances – so potentially a further £100,000.

International development has also been factored in with Hull having to pay £25,000 if he makes an England Under 21 appearance with £200,000 for a senior appearance.

Wimbledon will also take 20% of any profit made by Hull in a future transfer.
