Young goalkeeper Will Mannion has made the move to League One side Plymouth Argyle on an emergency loan deal this week.

The 19 year old stopper made the switch yesterday after permission was granted for the deal following the injury crisis the Home Park outfit have suffered in their goalkeeping department.

With no other senior goalkeeper fit and amongst their ranks, Plymouth approached both the EFL and Hull to take on our young goalkeeper on an emergency basis and he headed to them, with permission to play, ahead of their clash last night with Yeovil Town in the EFL Trophy.

Mannion initially makes the switch for a week but that could be extended if necessary.

He now has two senior appearance to his name this season, having played in the EFL Cup tie earlier in the campaign against Doncaster Rovers for us added to the Yeovil tie, so it’s a good chance for him to gain further experience – especially as we have granted permission for him to play in their FA Cup clash at the weekend against Bradford City as well.
