David Marshall is now officially a Hull player as his arrival from an undisclosed fee was announced by City this afternoon, which started a chain of arrivals.

Former Celtic ‘keeper Marshall, who had been with Cardiff since 2009, has signed a three-year deal with Hull with the Scottish international set to become the no.1 at the KCOM Stadium.

He’s got international duty coming up but once back he’ll battle with Eldin Jakupovic to be Mike Phelan’s first choice. In the continued injury absence of Allan McGregor 31-year-old Marshall is anticipated to get the nod.

A vastly experienced ‘keeper with international and topflight experience north and south of the border with him also having proven quality so this is a good signed for Hull.
