Hull City got a late loan deal over the line tonight for Dynamo Kiev striker Dieumerci Mbokani.

The 30 year old striker comes in on a season long loan move, with a view to making it a permanent deal next summer, and fans will remember his name potentially from a loan spell he had with Norwich City last season where he scored seven Premier League goals in 29 appearances.

The former Democratic Republic of Congo international retired last year with 16 goals in 35 appearances for his country and he’s played for Standard Liege, Monaco, and Anderlecht having made his name at TP Mazembe in his home country.

Hopefully he can have a better year in front of the net with us, given a year’s worth of Premier League experience under his belt now.
