New signing Doyle ‘in the building’

From Hull City OWS: ‘The Tigers have today completed the signing of Nathan Doyle from Derby County for a nominal fee which could rise based on appearances. An exciting prospect whose game is based on the ability to get the ball down quickly and pass and move fluently, Doyle can operate on the right flank in either midfield or defence and has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Tigers.’

Hull City OWS Story

Bradford have had Doyle on loan since the start of the season and the fans have been impressed with his form in the time he’s been there. It sounds like he could act as cover anywhere down the right hand side of the team and an extra midfield player will never go amiss, given the way the squad is at the moment. Who knows, he might even improve the attacking possibilities down that side. Some have even rated the player as likely premiership material, in the very near future. However, Phil Brown isn’t getting an unknown quantity, as he was in PB’s squad while he was manager at Derby. If Doyle is indeed a player for the future, then we hope Phil Brown has picked wisely.
