Permanent Deal For Welsh?

Chairman Adam Pearson has spoke of Hull’s desire to sign on loan Liverpool midfielder John Welsh on a permanent deal.

‘We would certainly like to sign him on a permanent basis but it’s more than likely that it will happen at the end of the season.

‘John is here until then anyway and is clearly enjoying his football and the environment of the club.’

In answer to other rumours about the deal, he also added.

‘[Paul] Anderson won’t be leaving [as part of a deal] and has just been promoted to our first-team squad.’
