Hull City return to Championship action as a trip to Bloomfield Road starts a hectic March for Nick Barmby`s side.

The Friday night game, in front of the Sky television cameras, is the first of nine games this month in what could define City`s season. A run of nine days without a game has seen City slip to 9th but with the possibility of moving into the Play-Off places with a win over Blackpool while still having games in hand on their rivals.

A clean sheet tomorrow night would set a new club record as a 0-0 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion equalled a club record six games without conceding in the club`s last outing at the KC. Blackpool meanwhile are strong at home, last losing on home soil in October in the league and often finding late goals to secure vital points.

Roman Bednar is fit to feature for the home side but Robbie Fowler will not feature having not been registered before yesterday`s deadline. Both sides will welcome back player`s on international duty this week, Matt Phillips for Blackpool and Corry Evans for City who should both feature.

Nick Barmby is expected to name an unchanged side, although Aaron McLean may come into contention to start after an impressive cameo against Brighton in his last outing.
