Hull City will be able to call upon James Chester and Joe Dudgeon as Ipswich visit the KC Stadium today.

After two weeks without action due to the international break, Bruce welcomes back two key defenders after both missed the win over Sheffield Wednesday in City`s last outing. Andy Dawson and Paul McShane, the latter having impressed while James Chester has been out, could both see their place in the team taken.

Robert Koren will miss the fixture, meaning Bruce may opt to remain with a 4-4-2 formation with Paul McKenna deputising in midfield, replacing the City captain.

Ipswich will welcome debutant Nigel Reo-Coker who joined as a free agent. However, Elliott Hewitt and Paul Taylor will both be missing for the relegation threatened visitors.

Ipswich have only taken maximum points once in Hull since their move to the KC, in 2007 when they emerged as 5-2 victors. Last season, City took 4 points from 6 in league encounters, as well as winning in the FA Cup 3rd round.
