Steve Bruce will be looking for his Hull City side to provide a late Christmas present in the form of three points against Leicester City at the KC Stadium this afternoon.

The Tigers are looking for a fifth consecutive win as they seek to retain their second place, while league leaders Cardiff City take on third placed Crystal Palace in the other big game of the day.

City are also looking for revenge against former manager Nigel Pearson after Leicester out-played the Tigers earlier in the season, David Nugent scoring a hat-trick as the home side were comfortable 3-1 winners.

City are set to be unchanged as Abdoulaye Faye continues in place of the suspended Alex Bruce while Jakupovic is set to continue in goal after his debut at Derby County. The visitors meanwhile welcome back ex-loanee Martyn Waghorn, who could start, while Michael Keane and Sean St Ledger both remain on the sidelines for 5th placed Leicester.

Vital Hull Prediction: Hull City 2 – 1 Leicester City
