Hull City will look for a fifth successive league win against in-form Nottingham Forest, who have been resurgent under Billy Davies and now found themselves in the last Play-Off spot.

City meanwhile are second, having taken advantage of dropped points by Watford and Crystal Palace to record a long overdue win over Burnley, their first in eight attempts.

Bruce has no new injury concerns from that fixture but could make changes. The most likely would be the introduction of Robert Koren for Alex Bruce if City chose to go more attacking, although the form of Forest may mean Bruce keeps his son in midfield.

Nottingham Forest will be without Dexter Blockstock but Dan Harding and former Tigers loanee Daniel Ayala could return, as could Billy Sharp and Simon Cox.

Earlier in the season, City recorded a third successive victory at the City Ground thanks to a 2-1 win. Robert Koren and Billy Sharp exchanged goals from penalties before Paul McShane headed in a winner midway through the second half.
