After another miserable Premier League January, City will be thankful that today`s game with Tottenham Hotspur comes in February.

In three seasons, City are yet to win a Premier League game in the month of January with the last month producing crucial defeats to Norwich City and Crystal Palace, both without City scoring.

Although Tottenham lost 5-1 to Manchester City on their last outing, the club is on a record breaking away form and will be looking for another win to maintain their Champions League hopes.

Hull City Team News

Allan McGregor starts the first of a three game suspension following his red card at Crystal Palace meaning Steve Harper will deputise. Eldin Jakupovic was recalled from his loan at Leyton Orient this week and will be on the bench.

Home debuts will be handed to Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long but Jake Livermore will be ineligible to face his parent club. As a result, Bruce may opt to use a 442 formation with George Boyd or Stephen Quinn poised to be handed a start.

Tottenham Hotspur Team News

Danny Rose has had his red card issues against Manchester City overturned and is eligible to play today.

Long-term absentees Jan Vertonghen, Younes Kaboul and Paulinho are all fit.
