Hot on the heels of David Marshall being confirmed as a signing from Cardiff the arrival at Hull of England international Ryan Mason from Tottenham was also announced by City.

This arrival was also for an undisclosed amount, like Marshall, but the fee is understood to be a club record fee that surpasses the one paid for Abel Hernandez when he arrived from Palermo during our last Premier League stint.

Mason, who will aim to regain his place in the England squad with regular football at the KCOM Stadium having dropped out of the Spurs first-team, has signed a three-year contract with Hull.

Another good addition to the starting XI, as this is something Mason will be in, with the squad growing in numbers slightly but most importantly in quality too.
