Hull’s (potentially) busy end to the transfer window could see Bristol City’s Jonathan Kodjia arrive in a club record deal with it also said City have shown strong interest in Derby’s Jeff Hendrick.

The Telegraph has reported a £14m deal has been proposed to Bristol City that would say £10m would be paid initially with a further £4m to be paid in add-ons.

Kodjia was left out of Bristol City’s Championship match at the weekend with the Robins’ boss Lee Johnson saying.

‘We have received numerous bids over the summer and it was totally my decision to leave him out. There has been a lot of speculation about Jonathan. I’ve been there before when bids have come in for players and it can be an emotional time. At this moment in time, nothing has matched our valuation. It will take a lot of money to get one of our players out of this club and we are calling the shots.’

As of this point no deal has been announced of further reports surfacing either….what that means I’ve no idea!

Derby midfielder Hendrick is also reportedly a player of ‘firm interest’ to Hull with Sky Sports saying the Burnley linked Republic of Ireland international, who have had two bids turned down, could come to the KCOM.

City are looking to sign four players by transfer deadline day with the 24-year-old midfielder one of those four?
