Hull City reserves take on Sheffield United reserves tonight at North Ferriby’s Church Road ground.

City striker Stephen McPhee will again feature as he makes his comeback from an injury that saw him miss almost fifteen months of competitive football. Having played for just under an hour last week in the East Riding Senior Cup, McPhee will be looking to go one step further tonight and attempt to complete the full ninety minutes.

Phil Parkinson is expected to field a strong side for Sheffield United’s visit with Nick Barmby, Mark Yeates and Michael Bridges expected to feature. All three have found first-team opportunities difficult to come by this season and all three should have their chance to impress tonight before the team travels to Norwich City at the weekend.

The game’s kick-off is at 7p.m and admission is free providing you are a Hull City season ticket holder, but be sure to take it with you.

We will feature the game here on Vital Hull tomorrow morning.
