Show No Respect

A common feature of City’s season has been the tendency for the players to give the opposition too much respect. They have allowed them too much time on the ball and all too often they are punished for it.

On Saturday, Taylor has stated they can’t afford to do that. When playing against four strikers in David Healy, Robbie Blake, Richard Cresswell and Rob Hulse, any time and space given to those four players will end in disaster.

Rather than worrying about the Leeds talent, City must play to their strengths and not deviate from their game plan just to accomodate what the opposition does.

Taylor has already picked his team for the match, and with Stuart Elliott and Alan Rogers returning to training, City have an almost fully fit squad, with the only absentees being the several long term injuries that have plagued City throughout the season.
