It was being reported yesterday that head coach Marco Silva had been holding talks with FC Porto this week.

With fans waiting to hear about Silva’s future and whether he’ll remain with us for the coming return to the Championship, he had already been tentatively linked with the likes of Watford and even Southampton following his impact at the club as Mike Phelan’s replacement.

If reports are to be believed though, the likes of the Yorkshire Post were all reporting that he seems to be edging nearer the exit door as Porto would be an interesting step for him to make.

He should be meeting with our owners later this week to thrash out his future, but he was apparently in Portugal on Tuesday for talks.

We’ll have to see what the end of the week brings but it’s not sounding promising at the moment you would think given the overall coverage these talks are getting in the press.
