The Tigers travel down to London this weekend hoping to make it three games unbeaten when they take on an under new mangement QPR at Loftus Road Tomorrow.
Tigers Boss Phil Brown:‘The fact that QPR have a new manager makes it an unusual trip and we’re going into the unknown a little bit in terms of how he will approach the game tactically and what personnel he’s going to use.
‘We’re talking about a team that’s undefeated in four games and to go and get a 1-0 win at Charlton was by no means a fluke.
New QPR boss Luigi De Canio is expected to give a debut to loan signing Akos Buzsaky and he will also be boosted by the return of Daniel Nardiello from injury.
The on loan Hungarian midfielder is a highly skilled dangerman for the R’s and is also a dead ball specialist. The City defenders will have to watch him closely.
Tigers boss Phil Brown can expect to have a selection headache tomorrow with a returning Jay Jay Okocha and Dean Marmey battling for a midfield spot alongside Captain Ian Ashbee. Celab Folan could also get a place on the bench as he continues his rehabilitation from injury.
The Nigerian can do things with a ball that others can only dream of. If he’s on form tomorrow then QPR could well see their 4 match unbeaten run come to an end.
Its hard to say how the QPR players will react to their new boss, although history says teams with a new gaffer tend to do well in their first game for the new regime. City are playing well at the moment and the return of Jay Jay will boost them no end.
I reckon both sides will cancel each other out and a 1-1 draw is the order of the day
