With the half hour approaching Sheffield Wednesday took the lead, against the run of play, when Forestieri (28) turned and fired an effort low into the corner.

Shortly after the break Hernandez (51), which came after a double save by Wednesday ‘keeper Westwood, had Hull level as he continued his recent purple patch to secure a point and extend the unbeaten run to five but a chance to go second was missed.
