Former Hull City loanee John Bostock has made the final ten of the Mitre “Goal of the Year” competition.

Bostock`s opening day goal against Swansea City was submitted by the club as their best football league goal in 2010. The former Spurs loanee collected Solano`s pass thirty five yards from goal, before flicking the ball inside and scoring from distance on his City debut.

After finding first-team opportunities difficult to come by, Bostock`s season-long loan from Spurs was cut-short in January.

During his brief spell with the club, Bostock scored a similarly stunning striker as he netted from distance against Leeds United during the 2-2 draw at Elland Road.

The 10 goals shown here will be reduced to five shortly, before the winner is unveiled at the Football League Award Dinner on Sunday 20 March.
