Same format as before please, a numerical rating of 0-5, with 0 meaning the player is out and 5 meaning they’re staying.

4 – Ian Ashbee
Captainmiffymoo3 – A tricky one this, we certainly missed his leadership on the field but with Andrews proving his metal lately and Taylor saying big name signings are coming you have to ask yourself is there a place for Ashbee anymore. Will probably be in the squad at start of next season but may well have moved on by Christmas.
Mdjw_415 – providing he returns all right from injury. He is our captain and his commitment will never be questioned. Always liked him and would love to see him in our midfield. Has been missed this season.
Lizzy Rose5 – I’m sure Ash will stay, he showed brilliant promise in the first few games and his presence in midfield has been missed all season. Has the fighting spirit to overcome his injury and I think we’ll see him back next season.
Rob4 – How much a part he plays will depend on how much he regains the fighting spirit that IS Ashbee. I think he’ll be fine!

6 -Jon Parkin
Captainmiffymoo5 – “The Beast” is going nowhere, would love to see him in partnership with McPhee.
Mdjw_415 – No doubt. Only just signed and he isn’t going anywhere. A fans favourite already and future City legend!
Lizzy Rose 5 – Definitely stay. The Beast is already a crowd favourite. If he carries on playing like he is he could end up being a cult hero, and taking up his place as a Tiger’s legend alongside the likes of Billy Whitehurst and Ken Wagstaff etc. He’s proved that he can score goals but also importantly, he can hold up play.
Rob5 – Are you kidding? JP could be the best of PT’s signings over the season, and provided that something when it was needed.

7 – Stuart Elliott
Captainmiffymoo3 – Hasn’t been his best season for the Tigers and he may well move on if Taylor buys a replacement in the summer
Mdjw_414 – Not likely to move away but could move down the pecking order if a new winger comes in. Would only see him leaving for silly money – but not many likely bidders. Will come good – I hope !
Lizzy Rose4 – More likely to stay this year than last. This time last season I would have said we would possibly leave in the summer but I think this year it’s actually his poor form that will keep him with us.
Rob – 3 – Despite his own words, he’s not looked the confident player of last season and is suffering under the burden of last seasons goal tally. He might go but its hard to call.

8 – Nick Barmby
Captainmiffymoo4 – Think he will stay, the only question is where do we play him?
Mdjw_413 – Not sure. Rumours about wages and his contract running out. Needs to prove fitness but do we really need him apart from adding experience. Maybe give him more of a coaching rather than playing role to help out the youngsters. They could learn a lot from him.
Lizzy Rose4 – I think he will stay, we definitely haven’t seen the best of him this season but I think he’ll benefit from having better players around him come the new season.
Rob3 – Nick will stay but will he drift out from being a starter to being an impact ‘last 20 mins’ type player? Its possible as he can turn a game in less than that.

9 – Ben Burgess
Captainmiffymoo0 – Sad to say but I fear Ben will be on his way out in the summer. 6 strikers is too many and both himself & Paynter will have to make way.
Mdjw_41 2 – If he doesn’t recover from his injury then his career may be over. If he does recover, not having played for so long he has fallen a long way down the order. I would be sad to see him leave, but I can’t see him staying unfortunately. I hope he does though!
Lizzy Rose 2 – I think he’ll go. Hasn’t been a major part of the last 2 seasons, returned from his horrific injury and started to do very well but the reoccurrence of the problem must be a worry to both him and Taylor. It will be sad to see him go.
Rob3 – Its not looking good for Ben and I doubt he’ll be in the squad come August, I’m sure if he doesn’t, he’ll give some League 1 club value for money.

10 – Stephen McPhee
Captainmiffymoo5 – Providing he recovers from injury okay I expect him to be the first choice striker alongside Parkin next season. I think we have missed him this season.
Mdjw_415 – Key player next season as stated by Pearson. Think he could form a very good partnership with the Beast.
Lizzy Rose 2 – Hard to judge a player who has barely made an appearance all season. Must be a serious injury worry for Taylor and so I think he may leave at the end of the season.
Rob5 – The Beast and McPhee. Now there’s something that could be very tasty indeed.

14 – Stuart Green
Captainmiffymoo3 – Once again a toughie, has been playing well lately, but is prone to having bad patches and dips in confidence. All depends on who P.T brings in during the close season.
Mdjw_41 3 – On current form going nowhere but am 50:50 as to whether he will go or not. Will depend on new signings and whether or not he wants to stay.
Lizzy Rose3 – Not too sure, up until about a month ago he was having a very disappointing season and I would have said he would definitely go but he’s improved dramatically over the last few games and now I’m uncertain. I think even if he stays he’ll have tough competition for his place next season as it must be an area Taylor will look to strengthen.
Rob – 3 – An enigma wrapped in a mystery. On his day, he’s good, when he’s off it, he’s horrible. But yet there’s a good chance he’ll be part of things come the start of the new season.

17 – Keith Andrews
Captainmiffymoo5 – Will be here next season, has started to relish the captaincy role and is growing into a very good holding midfielder
Mdjw_415 – A vital part of the team this year and will be next year.
Lizzy Rose 4 – I think Andrews will stay, since recovering from his injury he has played very well for the Tigers and I think the best is yet to come. Another one who I think will benefit from having better players around him, like he did when partnered with Noble.
Rob3 – I think this is one area which PT will invest in heavily, an Andrews might find himself more on the bench than starting. A good holding player, but perhaps not creative enough.

19 – John Welsh
Captainmiffymoo1 – I think Liverpool got the better deal with Paul Anderson, wont be surprised to see him move to another championship side in the summer.
Mdjw_414 – Unlikely to move but he must wonder why he gets overlooked. Not been great recently and think he could be more of a bit part player if a central midfielder is signed in the summer.
Lizzy Rose4 – I’m pretty sure he’ll stay. He’s been very inconsistent this season but I think the more experience he gets under his belt the more he’ll improve. Another player that I believe we have yet to see the best of.
Rob3 – He puzzles me, as he’s obviously got something there, or Liverpool wouldn’t take him on as an apprentice, but has struggled since arriving. In the same boat as Andrews.

22 – Darryl Duffy
Captainmiffymoo 5 – Pacy striker who will be a good back up to Parkin & McPhee.
Mdjw_414 – He isn’t your top buy to go six months later. He will have to prove he’s worth a place in the starting eleven or he may be more of a bench player next season.
Lizzy Rose5 – Definitely stay, shows a lot of promise but he’s definitely not fulfilling all of his potential. I predict that he’ll be an asset to the club next season when he’s feeding off a much better midfield.
Rob4 – Duffy needs the ball to feet and if as expected the midfield is improved, then he could see far more of the type of ball he can use

24 – Kevin Ellison
Captainmiffymoo0 – What is it with Taylor and his ex players? I don’t think he will be starting next season and may drop down a division.
Mdjw_413 – Will go if someone comes in for him (Chester?) but can’t see him going anywhere if no-one wants him. Will be playing a lot of reserve team football though.
Lizzy Rose 3 – I don’t think he has been given as many chances as he has deserved this season, but those that he has been given, he’s made the most of and played well. I think he will stay.
Rob2 – As much as I applaud his untiring endeavour, I don’t think he’ll see the new season. We need a better backup to Stuey Elliott than him

25 – Billy Paynter
Captainmiffymoo0 – With 6 strikers on the books, someone is going to be disappointed in the summer and I think it is Billy.
Mdjw_413 – Only just joined the team but must wonder if it was the right move after limited opportunities since Duffy and Parkin arrived.
Lizzy Rose 4 – Stay, when he’s been given chances he’s hard to fault. On arrival, he needed a different type of player to play alongside rather than Fagan, and then he was overshadowed by the signing of Duffy and Parkin. I think Paynter and the Beast would make a good partnership option.
Rob3 – I can see Billy being offered out on a season-long loan, as I don’t think PT will sell.

27 – Craig Fagan
Captainmiffymoo5 – A great cover player for the right of midfield and up front, expect him to be used as a back up striker for Parkin & McPhee
Mdjw_414 – Think he is a good player and will be useful – even if it is just as a squad player.
Lizzy Rose3 – I really hope he stays but I’m not too sure. He’s definitely a player that wants first team football, and if City aren’t offering him enough of it, he may go elsewhere. With the reported disputes, it’s hard to tell whether he’s really happy here.
Rob4 – If Craig can work hard and present the right kind of attitude, he could be a dangerous striker off the bench for City next season. He’s quick and can be very tricky down the right

28 – Russell Fry
Captainmiffymoo0 – With first team appearances limited for him I think he will be packing his suitcase for pastures new.
Mdjw_413 – Probably another year of reserve football. Needs to go out on loan to get experience if he ever wants to make it at Hull.
Lizzy Rose4 – I think he’ll stay. He’s not broken into the first team properly so he’s still got a lot to prove, but I think he will stay with us and maybe spend a few loan spells at lower league clubs in order to gain much needed experience.
Rob3 – Hard to say as I haven’t seen him this time. Perhaps he will spend a lot of the season on loan, to devlop further.

29 – Ryan France
Captainmiffymoo5 – Will be a good squad player providing cover down the right hand side.
Mdjw_414 – Has done very well this year, and providing he doesn’t play at right-back is a solid player.
Lizzy Rose 4 – Stay, he’s played well this season. I think, like most of the players, he’s found that it’s a big step up from league 1 to the championship but he’s showed he can handle himself and that he’s flexible, playing both right midfield and right back.
Rob4 – Ryan has been an excellent signing for PT and he has adapted well, just as long as he stays in his right midfield spot. He’s better there than anywhere else!
