Ticket news for Hull City’s clash with Tranmere Rovers in the Carling Cup
Ticket information for Hull City’s clash with Tranmere Rovers has been released.
Hull City were drawn against League 1 side Tranmere Rovers in the first round of the Carling Cup with the match being played on Tuesday 22nd August at the KC Stadium.
The match will kick-off at 7.45 p.m at the KC Stadium. Fans attending the match will see some familiar faces in the Tranmere outfit including recent departures Kevin Ellison and Robbie Stockdale who joined Tranmere from Hull City this summer. Tranmere will also expect to have ex-Tiger Ian Goodison in the squads when they travel to the KC stadium.
Last season saw the Tigers crash out in the first round to League 1 side Blackpool at Bloomfield Road. Then manager Peter Taylor rested the majority of his squad for a match he saw as insignificant – something many Tigers fans will be hoping Parkinson doesn`t do. It would be nice to have a cup run once in a while.
Tickets for the match go on sale on Monday 31st July with season ticket holders having until the 12th August to claim their own seat for the match.
Fans who signed up to the club’s ‘Cup Direct’ scheme will have their tickets posted to them from Saturday 22nd July.
