Dawson Deal Finally Done

It’s been a long time coming but the on-off transfer to Hull of Michael Dawson has been completed this evening.

An undisclosed fee has finally seen the defender seal his move to the KC Stadium from Tottenham Hotspur, with him signing a three-year deal with the club being handed shirt no.21.

Dawson follows in the footsteps of his older brother Andy in playing for the club, he was a long-term servant of the club and now his 30-year-old brother can follow suit with it that family connection that helped play a part in this move.

The four-times capped England international played more than 300 times for Spurs in his nine-years with the club but said in his interview not too long ago on the official website that he felt the time was right for a new challenge with this move right for him.

If Dawson can show his very best form an England recall isn’t out of the question.
