Hull City return to Championship action this weekend after an enforced fortnight`s break as a result of international matches.

The Tigers` last fixture saw them record a much needed home victory against Reading, while Peterborough emphasised their dominance in their last home fixture by beating Ipswich Town 7-1, although the visitors did assist by having two players sent off.

Both sides have strengthened since their last results by bringing in new faces on transfer deadline day, and both teams should have debutants in their side tomorrow.

Vital Quotes:

Peterborough United Team News:

Gabby Zakuani is fit for Darren Ferguson and should return to the Posh defence. However, Joe Lewis will not, having lost the number one jersey to Paul Jones after a spell on the sidelines.

Deadline day signing Emile Sinclair could be handed a debut after his £100,000 move from Macclesfield Town. Sinclair earlier scored both goals when Macclesfield won 2-0 at the KC Stadium in the first round of the Carling Cup.

Player to watch: Emile Sinclair

The striker showed his composure with two well taken goals when facing City for Macclesfield and will look to heap further misery on Nigel Pearson`s side tomorrow if given the opportunity.

Hull City Team News:

City will look to hand a debut to loanee Martyn Waghorn, who joined from Leicester City on transfer deadline day.

That was City`s only in-coming business on a relatively quiet day, meaning City could make only the one change from the side that won against Reading.

Aaron Mclean, who spent four successful seasons at London Road, returns to his former club for the first time since leaving in a £1.3 million transfer to The Tigers.

Player to watch: Aaron Mclean

Mclean was a vital part of Peterborough`s rise from the lower leagues and is sure to receive a positive reception upon his Peterborough return.

Match Facts & Stats

Saturday`s opponents are rarely losers in consecutive fixtures in recent times, meaning City will have to play well to enforce two defeats on The Posh in as many outings.

Both sides will be expecting their strikers to make an impact on their debut but while Peterborough are strong in attack, they can be weak at the back and City must exploit this with a high tempo tactic.
