Southampton v Hull

Image for Southampton v Hull

With Hull having won just once in our last 14-match away heading to a side that’s still chasing a European spot you would think that Southampton would fancy their chances against us wouldn’t they at the St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday?

Now literally ‘just outside the bottom three’ with QPR closing to within two-points of us with a relatively impressive run of late, as are Burnley with Leicester bottom but only six-points behind us, we could find ourselves in the bottom three come 5pm on Saturday if we don’t get at least a point!

If that happens you then fear for our ability to get out….

Match Facts & Stats

Southampton might be at the right end of the table but their points return of 11 from the last nine-matches is only two-points better than ours so it’s safe to say that they’re hardly ‘in the best of form’ but they have beaten us in seven of the last eight-matches played in the league!

Match Prediction:

What way will this one go? Even though the form isn’t ‘too much different’ statistically, previous points, in so many ways, to a Southampton win but we’ll of course hope not! What do you think?

Next Fixtures:

Next up, after this one, is Crystal Palace next Saturday – also away.
