Vital Quotes:
Hull City Team News:
New signing Wayne Brown is unlikely to be risked whilst he is still nursing a hamsting injury, whilst Bryan Hughes & Richard Garcia should both take their place in a City line up that has an all too familiar look to it.Dean Windass is expected to lead the attack alomgside Stephen McPhee, whilst captain Ian Ashbee should be handed the role of the holding midfielder. The back five should be the same as least season with Michael Tunrner partnering Damian Delaney in the middle. If Phil Brown sticks with his 4-3-3 formation then Nick Barmby could find himself drafted in as the free man behind the front two with Richard Garcia & Bryan Hughes partnering Ashbee in the middle.
Probable Line UpMyhill, Ricketts, Turner, Delaney, Dawson, Garcia, Ashbee, Hughes, Barmby, Windass, McPhee.
Player to watch: Dean Windass
As top scorer last season the onus will be on Dean Windass to start hitting the back of the net tomorrow and the big man is likely to open his account for the season.
Plymouth Team News:
Plymouth Boss Ian Holloway should name a team very similiar to the one that took the points at the K.C last season after having secured the services of Hungarian Internationals Peter Alomosi & Krisztian Timar on long term contracts over the summer, they will join fellow Hungarian Akos Buzsaky in a very strong looking Argyle outfit. Last seasons top scorer Barry Hayles is expected to lead the front line alongside Rory Fallon.
Player to watch: Barry Hayles
14 goals last season and the striker has been looking good in pre season. A rgylr will be hoping Hayles can unsettle the City defence
Match Facts & Stats
Match Prediction:
An all too familiar look to the City side does not bode well for the coming season, With only three signings in during the summer and one out injured it could well be a repeat of the final game last season.
Vital Prediction
City 1-2 Plymouth

I disagree………..things appear to have been more settled this year in terms of management and players have been able to focus more on teamwork….I predict a 1 -1 draw.
I disagree think it be a hard game and im guna go for 2-1 to City. Hope we can defend really well 2day and play some decent football.
