This week’s featured Hull City player is midfielder Mark Noble.

Despite having few years of experience behind him, Mark Noble joined The Tigers with arguably the weightiest reputation since the arrival of Nick Barmby in 2004. Initially, the Newham born midfielder joined Hull City on a months loan from Premiership outfit West Ham utd. However, the loan spell has been extended and Mark is now set to remain at The KC stadium until the end of the season.

Noble joined West Ham at the age of 12, and at 15 became the youngest ever Hammer to play as part of the reserves team. His skill became apparent early on in his West Ham career, and Noble was acknowledged for his outstanding footballing ability and for demonstrating maturity beyond his years.

The Talented midfielder made his senior debut for The Hammers from the subs bench in The Carling Cup game against Southend in August 2004. Noble furthered his senior career, with his most recognised contribution being a string of starts across the following March and April, and 3 appearances from the Bench in the all important play offs of 2005.

Noble also impressed at international level, earning the Captaincy role of the England under 18 squad. As a result of his contributions and the demonstration of his promising ability, Noble was merited with the Young Hammer of the year award.

The 18 year old signed a new 4 year contract following The Hammers promotion last year and his future at the Premiership club looks promising. Mark has joined us at Hull City for the remainder of the season in order to gain much needed match experience, and hopefully in turn, to aid our current survival campaign. The West Ham youngster made a promising home debut against Wolves on Saturday, and I personally believe there’s still a lot more to come from the midfielder believed to be The Hammers brightest young star.
