Hull’s Championship season continued, with the Tigers back to winning ways at the KC Stadium against Fulham on Wednesday.

The disappointment, if you could call it that of Sunday’s draw against Wolves – disappointment in the manor of the equalising goal, was put behind Wolves with Aluko scoring a late winner to give the Tigers a two-one win after Elmohamady’s opener had been cancelled out by Cairney.

A half time lead was Hull’s when Elmohamady (34) headed home a cross from Scottish international Robertson, likely to be a constant source of assists this season!

Returning, as former players so often do, ex-Tigers man Cairney (69), who signed for Fulham from Blackburn in the summer, beat McGregor, he couldn’t do anything with this one, from 20-yards to make it one-one with a little over 20-minutes to play.

The winner, early days but this sees Hull join Ipswich at the top of the table, came with four-minutes to play when Jelavic knocked the ball down to Aluko (86) who did the rest.
