Audio – Bruce On Disappointing Preston Loss

Manager Steve Bruce has been giving his thoughts about the very disappointing loss to Preston North End yesterday.

Going into the game at Deepdale, presumably on a high following the three nil Boxing Day victory over fellow promotion chasers Burnley, Bruce made a number of changes to the starting line up for this match and arguably they didn’t go as planned.

A second half goal for the hosts was enough to decide the points – but the greater disappointment from the showing was, well, the lack of the performance more than anything – inspite of the game stats showing promise.
