Manager Steve Bruce has said he felt Hull were unlucky not to have taken all three points today from the game against Wolves as we handed the them their goal.

Speaking to Sky Sports following the one all draw today at Molineux, Bruce admitted that McGregor probably hasn’t made an error like that since he was ten years old and he called on the stopper to bounce back from the obvious disappointment he felt.

‘The one thing in football management you can’t legislate for is human error. He probably hasn’t done that since he was 10. It’s now how he deals with it, which is the key. I cannot disguise the fact it was one of those howlers which has cost us the match. He’s certainly a strong character, he is going to need to be. When you’re a keeper it’s highlighted. He has to cope with it and deal with it and come back and show his teeth a bit. He’ll never have a moment like that again.’

As for the overall game Bruce knows we did enough to have taken all three points, so he has to be happy with a point, take the positives and look for the side to build on further when we return to action but of course ongoing transfer speculation doesn’t help our plans.

‘We have lost 14 players and brought in five or six but the transfer window is still three weeks away. I’ve had enquiries from 15 clubs about players. It’s no secret they have buy-outs. There’s three weeks to go, I hope we can hold on to them but if I was a betting man I would be betting against it.’

With the latest link being Tom Huddlestone, Bruce went on to say that he knows agents are touting him everywhere and he knows West Ham – amongst others – will know the buy out fee so it’s whether they meet that, there’s nothing he can do about it.

City seem weak in the goalkeepers department, Jacopovic is a bit scary, in a match at KC last season he kept wandering up the pitch 40 or 50 yards and I thought a ball looped over him would roll in to the net. McGregor still seems short on confidence, a decent goalie could be bought as cheaply as 2 million, such as Saafends Daniel Bentley.

Did enough to win, your a fat mouthed gobby ***** Bruce and a joke, Hull should have been two nil down in the opening minutes, gained a dubious penalty against the run of play off a cheating low life ex baggie.
Hull only came into the match in the last ten minutes has the Wolves players tired.
    **** off Bruce!
