Hull City have tonight confirmed the capture of Norwich City midfielder Robert Snodgrass.

The Scottish international is our second major signing of the summer, coming quickly on the heels of Jake Livermore from Tottenham Hotspur. Hull haven’t released the size of the fee, but it’s believed that the 26 year old has joined us for a speculated sum of £7million.

Moving from Carrow Road to the KC Stadium, Snodgrass has put pen to paper on a three year deal with us, and given his versatility in midfield, he will be a great option for manager Steve Bruce as we head into 2014-15.

Speaking to the Official Site as his signing was announced, he explained.

‘Having spoken to the owners and the manager here, and having seen the plans they have for this club, I was very keen to be a part of it all. Once the fee was agreed, it all happened very quickly and everything the club has done to get the deal completed has been unbelievable.’

Snodgrass goes on to say that he feels this is now a very exciting start to a new chapter for him on a personal level, and he can’t wait to get started now, especially as Hull will be quickly working towards our European bow.
