Several media reports during the day have suggested Hull City have suspended record signing Jimmy Bullard, although there has been no official comment on the speculation.

The Hull Daily Mail reports that Bullard has been told to stay away from the club for two weeks, and fined £90,000 (equating to the maximum fine possible of two weeks wages) following a breach of club discipline.

The breach is thought to have happened during the week long training camp in Slovenia, at a time when The Tigers looked to have given Bullard another chance to prove himself for the forthcoming season.

The 32 year old, who has two years remaining on his £45,000 per week City contract, now has a bleak looking future at the KC, with QPR still thought to be keen on the midfielder although a deal is some way from completion.

Nigel Pearson, Adam Pearson and Assem Allam have so far not commented on the midfielder`s reported suspension, with Nigel Pearson non-committal on the subject when questioned ahead of watching his side beat Winterton Rangers 2-1 last night.

The suspension means Bullard is unlikely to play any part in Pre-Season, putting a first-team return in jeopardy.
