Cullen targets succesful loan spell

Hull striker Mark Cullen is hopeful of making an impact at Bury.

The City youngster has joined the League 1 side on loan until 31 December, and will hope to make his competitive Bury debut when they start their season with a fixture against promotion hopefuls Huddersfield Town.

After an impressive return of goals in City`s reserve side, Cullen has struggled to make the step-up, scoring just once in 21 appearances last season.

An unsuccessful loan spell at Bradford City did little to build his ability, with the player and Nigel Pearson hoping to see greater benefit from a longer first-team spell at Bury.
