Dawson To Return

Andy Dawson wads injured in the F.A Cup Round 3 defeat to Aston Villa back at the start of January. Although expected to be missing for three weeks, the defender appears to have recovered quickly.

Dawson should be fit to play in the reserve game against Grimsby Town and if he shows his fitness can be in contention for the visit of Plymouth Argyle to the KC.

After hearing of Dawson’s injury, Taylor brought in Alan Rogers on loan and he has added stability to the City defence, and Dawson will now have a battle to get back into the first-team.

Dawson’s delivery has been missed, especially from corners, and it will be great to see him back in the team when he regains his full fitness.

Dawsons return is certainly good news for the Tigers. Whilst Rogers has showed he is a battler Dawson gives us the edge in attacking options and set pieces.
